I'm sorry about the electrics - this was an issue beyond our control - we did call an electrician out at the weekend but the problem was resolved the following morning. Breakfast was obviously made more difficult by the lack of electricity.
Most people comment what a great selection it is of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, white/brown bread, croissants, homemade preserves and juice.
I am sorry that you did not like my wonderful jasmine wrapped around the porch.

Likes:
Easy to book, friendly host, beautiful bathroom and room. Lots of little extras to make you feel at home. The pub nearby also had nice food and friendly service.
Dislikes:
The "free" wifi was barely working at all, so we are lucky we did not need to arrange anything online while there. Secondly, there was a very sharp spring poking through the mattress, please check it.

As it was fairly hot we opened the window which was rather noisy with traffic including a late landing of a plane at Stansted.

Made to feel welcome, owners very good with our mentally handicapped son. Had time for him and listened to him. Made us feel very comfortable in their home.

Comfortable bed, lovely soft dressing gowns, immense breakfast. Would stay there again.
Dislikes:
Our lovely hosts didn't hear the doorbell although we rang several times. So off we set around the house in the dark until we came to the kitchen door, where we were welcomed like old friends

Winter weight duvet on the bed on a very hot night, no fan and the traffic noise when you had the windows open stopped us sleeping, We would stay again as the location was great. Nice owner.
