We picked St. Simeon due to the location and (of course) the price. We were not expecting anything fancy due to the low price, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. The breakfast was plentiful and there was a vast choice. The building itself is beautiful and it is in a perfect location, the tube is a 5 minute walk and the Natural history museum is a 10 minute walk away. We will definitely be staying here again in future. Read less

Good location for Royal Albert Hall and museums.
Very good shower, not a bad bed for comfort, quiet room on third floor at rear.
Dislikes:
Tired room, TV didnt work.
No cap in basin plug.
Thick dust where not seen (was looking for switch on top of TV, and I mean Thick dust).

About 10 years ago we stayed at this hotel. This year I had a conference in the area, so instead of a run-of-the-mill standard hotel I decided to go back here.
And it was nice again.
The breakfast is great as well, every morning it is a surprise to see what's there, apart from the normal eggs & cornflakes pine-apple & doughnuts at day one, chocolate buns and blueberries the next. When I need to be in this part of London this is where I stay. Read less
