Its well priced for a very nice room, however my room (Traveller) was very tatty on the outside wall and looks like its a damp problem. Didn't affect my enjoyment really though. I guess theyd call it shabby chic these days!
Was noisy at night as i forgot how busy London can be even in the suburbs. The windo is only single pane so doesn't keep noise out - traffic noise that is, otherwise its quiet. Read less

the beds comfy. Good staff. Good breakfast choice, although i just had porridge, you can have the full Englosh and its included in the price, so good value - for London!
Dislikes:
As mentioned, the décor has flaky paint on one wall and could be damp(?), but its otherwise nicely decorated.
A room safe would have been good, but its safe enough i guess.

Spacious room with steel bath in room. Great breakfast. Nice location. Staff very busy but approachable and friendly.
Dislikes:
Some small gripes. Few hairs in steel bath and couldn't see tv from bath even though in the same room(a shame but only a minor issue), sink plug wouldn't work, pillows too soft.

Enjoyed our stay here last year in the Artisan room so decided to book again. I booked the gamekeeper room as it looked the nicest. When we checked in we were given the key to the Milliner room and was told the gamekeeper room was occupied. when we got to the room the bed had been moved as there was a big damp patch in the ceiling. It was a very wet day and the ceiling started to leak. I went and asked to be moved only to be told they were fully booked and I'd have to wait for the manager. Read less

Unfortunately nothing, its a shame because we liked it here first time.
Dislikes:
Being given the wrong room with a leaking ceiling and having to wait until 5pm for the manager to get a refund before we could move on. A complete waste of a day.

Large room (Gamekeeper's room)with feature copper bath. Quiet at night.
Dislikes:
Some bad smells on stairway leading up to the rooms. Service was informal to the point of non-existent. Cleaning of room a bit patchy.

We stayed for two nights to visit London. We were looking for a low-key neighborhood and the Warrington came up in our searches. Also - really wanted to have a copper bathtub in the room! :) The pub downstairs was always bustling and offered a very good included breakfast, though, as a gluten-free guest, options were slightly limited. Staff was working very hard, but they do seem short-staffed. The room was not quite as glamorous as the photos suggested, but were comfortable. Read less

First to report is the room we stayed in was very good. Comfortable bed, good night's sleep. Couldn't fault the bathroom, clean, well-appointed and super shower - would give this part 9/10. The one thing that lets the place down is the stairs and the unwelcoming aroma as you reach them which wasn't pleasant. The hotel needs just a tad of refurbishing, the potential is there, clearly. Yes if it just addressed these issues it would have a really good product. Overall ok. Read less
Dislikes:
The smell in the stairway and the stairs, not nice. If this was addressed and I would stay here again and with a warning of this would recommend to others.
