Likes: I was made to feel welcome. Food was just what I needed after a long drive. The breakfast pack-up left outside my door for the early start I had was a nice touch.

It was our second stay, the rooms are very clean, the food was great, full English breakfast was large. Emma was very nice nothing was too much trouble. We will stay again when we visit the family. Situated off the A22 between Hailsham and Uckfield, The Blacksmith's Arms in Halland is a unique and genuine Old English pub . Originally built in 1807 as two Blacksmith's Cottages, the building was later converted into a Public House and named the, "Blacksmith's Arms". After many renovations & additions now boasts a traditional & comfortable Public Bar with working original fireplaces We have 6 available rooms all are En-Suite, Please be aware all rooms are being refurbished as an ongoing project. We have standard double En-Suite & 2 En-Suite rooms with a double bed and a single bed or 2 Double beds which can be used as twin or double rooms. Room 7 is a double En-Suite with an open bathroom. Our menu is being served 12:00 -15.00 & 18.00 - 21.00 and incorporates firm favourites such as Scampi, Fish & Chips, Bangers & mash and delicious pub meals. We also offer Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. On Sundays, our Traditional Roasts with seasonal vegetables & Yorkshire puddings are available from 12:00 - 16.00 through the winter months Rooms at the Blacksmith's Arms have Flat Screen FreeView Tv's, coffee and tea facilities and all the facilities you would expect to have at hand during your stay. Continental Breakfast is included in the price we can also provide a cooked breakfast for an additional cost and is prepared for you from 8am - 9:00am Mon.- Fri. & 8:30am - 9.30am Sat. & Sun. We Can Cater for Dietary requirements with advance notice.
