We enjoyed a lot the Thanet hotel for its staff very nice and always ready to help you .W I’ll recommend this place to ours friends whom will go one day to London for its location near tube and Burroughs like Covent garden or Oxford street .We have gone back to France a few sad to leave this area. We stayed for 3 nights on a short city visit. The small family run hotel is in a perfect location - it was a short walk to Russell Square tube station and about 15 minutes to Covent Garden tube station. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast (included in the price ) was really good and plenty of choice, both hot.(cooked to order) and cold buffet. Read less

Extremely quiet - especially at night. Very comfortable beds and pillows.
Dislikes:
Lovely quiet room but request lower floor if mobility problems - it was challenging getting up there - but no creaking floors above us so made up for it! Would have moved us if a real issue.

I have been coming to this hotel for the last few years. In a business sector (hospitality) with a large turnover it is wonderful to see the same friendly faces every time.

Lovely staff perfect location and good wifi. Rooms had everything needed
Dislikes:
Bed and pillow very uncomfortable and swinging door was so loud the whole room shook everytime someone came to their room.Breakfast was plentiful yet bland tasting cheap ingredients used.

convenient location, friendly, excellent breakfast.
Dislikes:
Very hard water. Exhaust fans do not work in bathrooms. Basement room airless, and because exhaust fan didn't work and window didn't open, it was suffocating.

L'Hotel è situato in una zona tranquilla e comoda per visitare la città.
I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili ed hanno risolto prontamente ogni problema.
La colazione è ottima!
