We felt like we were staying with friends, albeit in a lovely suite! The location was perfect and it was a short stroll into the village, where we had a lovely meal in one of the local pubs.
Dislikes:
No complaints at all.

The grounds were amazing and you could not ask for better hosts. Greeted heartily and made to feel welcome throughout. Both were very accommodating and friendly. Definitely the 5 star service.

We paid for "The Cottage" (actually a breeze block lean to shed) as it was extremely convenient for our cousin's house and was last minute. The owners were friendly and helpful. The village of Eysford was charming and had lots of interest in terms of buildings and shops with a colourful tea shop open early on Sunday morning. This was good as we were expected to be 'out before 11am'. Read less
Likes:
The house was an Arts and Crafts build and very attractive with beautiful proportions and pargetted ceilings. Fresh flowers on the tables. The owner offered to book a table for the evening for us.
Dislikes:
Very little 'extras'the minimum of coffee, shower gel, no body lotion, one sort of tea bags. The view from the bedroom, bathroom windows of a dilapidated greenhouse, stale smelling towels, fluffy corners

Tabsfield is an undeniably beautiful house that was built in the 1890’s by the local mill-owner. From an elevated position, we enjoy spectacular views over the Darenth Valley.

Tabsfield has well-established landscape gardens too with sets of Croquet and Boules, as well as a selection of board games for guests to use. Breakfast may be taken in the garden in the summer months.

Eynsford’s quaint pubs, restaurants and numerous ancient buildings are within walking distance of the house, and Brands Hatch, London Victoria, the Eurostar at Ebbsfleet, and the South Coast are just a taste of what is easily accessible from this superbly placed retreat.

So whether in the region on business or pleasure, your hosts are here to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay in utmost comfort.
