The Swan Inn is an imposing pub, decorated in a modern style with four en-suite accommodation rooms. All bedrooms have a colour TV, hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities. We are ideally suited for the businessman and visitors alike. Freshly prepared food is served Monday to Friday 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sundays 12pm to 10pmA traditional carvery with a choice of 5 meats is served on Sundays 12pm to 6pm.

Likes: A very pleasant and quiet area, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was ample for our needs.
Dislikes: Would suggest a 2nd chair in the room, a few more clothes hangers and curtains or blinds on the window, this wasnt a problem at this time of year but in summer room may be very bright early morning.

Likes: Fairly close to the venue. Good beers, Camra recommended. Excellent breakfast included.
Dislikes: No on site parking. We were lucky that local demolition works meant there was space to park at the weekend. Not available mid-week.

When we finally got the manager he was very polite and helpful and apologised about the mattress. Read less
Likes: Good location, pleasant and good value. Shame the problem with the room and breakfast let them down.
Dislikes: Very poor breakfast - plenty but all overcooked and only DIY coffee in powder sachets with hot water. A real shame
