"Uncomfortable overnight stay on single bed, refund promised, nothing received"
I booked a Double Bedded Room via TopRooms well in advance of my stay at the Summerfield. It wasn't clear if Breakfast was offered or not; an email of inquiry to the booking confirmation immediately showed the advertised email address of the owner was 'un-deliverable'. On arrival, there was no double-bedded room reserved for me. A refund was promised but nothing has been received. Read less

The Summerfield is a pub with rooms so you have to announce yourself over the bar. Immediate impression is a warm and lively atmosphere with plenty of character. We arrived during a busy Saturday evening but the efficient staff were quick to show us to our room. We were in room 2 which was clean and tastefully decorated. It overlooks the pub front and main road but noise wasn't a problem. The wc/shower room is very small but adequate and clean. Didn't have breakfast. Read less
