My wife and I had a short two night stay in the Staunton before moving on to a friend's flat in a different part of London. We chose the Staunton because it is close to the British Museum and to some of my old haunts from my youth. The hotel is a small comfortable hotel with up to date, clean facilities in the rooms. The room was charming and comfortable; fine for a short stay, but it might feel a bit restrictive for a longer stay of a week or more. Read less

The staff were very professional and friendly, and the included breakfast offered both a buffet and a cooked meal. The hotel feels more like a friend's home than a hotel.
