Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside and located in the historic village of Lingfield is The Star Inn.

A contemporary country pub with rooms (no pets in the hotel rooms) where great food, open fires, best kept ales, wooden beams, freshly group coffee beans, daily kitchen specials and a very warm welcome are order of the day.

Did we mention the large beer garden with views of sprawling countryside, our own kitchen herb garden and a lovely play area for children?

Oh, and we have Gertrude. She’s quite special and unique, just like us. More about her later.

We are conveniently located just 6 miles away from Gatwick airport, 12 miles from Heathrow, 22 miles from London and 0.5 miles from Lingfield train station and racecourse. Just follow the path,.
