For one the room was ok but the matress was covered in a material with lumps on. The bathroom needs a towel rail, a sanitary bin amd a toilet roll holder. I was unable to hang up my clothes as the hook was too high. Room needs some ventilation. TV remote needs a cover for the btteries and the shower needs attention as a bit fell off. I left at 7.10 so breakfast was not available but I asked for a cereal bar. Read less

The accommodation was close to where I was going the next day and was reasonably priced. Happy to have WiFi. as had work to do. Lady behind the bar was friendly. The coffee and kettle was useful.
Dislikes:
The location of the carpark is not in the postcode given for the pub. It was full until the pub closed. Not helful for visitors. Lack of ventilation in room.

The staff were friendly and caring, and the my room was tidied when I was away at the office during the day..There was also a T.V. and Kettle which kept me company in the evenings.
Dislikes:
The power shower might need attention, as it sounded like the solenoid mechanism was having difficulty..it being a bit loud when operating ...

Dislikes:
Room very cramped .No wardrobe/drawers. Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom. No bath mat floor slippery.Kitchen under refurb breakfast not what expected. Complete refurb of bedroom needed.

This was the most awful experience we arrived and dropped our bags and returned late at night and the full extent of the room became apparent. It was filthy, dust on every surface and you could taste and smell the dust in the air. Holes in floors, missing skirting board's and the bedding was awful and engrained with dirt,we did not get into the bed and spent a night on top of the bed on a blanket from our car and left at 5am as couldn't stand it.Emailed the RV but no response. Disgusting! Read less

Comfortable bed, smallish but pleasantly decorated room- ready for a refresh but fine for overnight. The pub downstairs was friendly and on site parking is always welcome.

We stayed one night at the Rifle Volunteer pub. It was fair value for money, the room was small, however it had everything we needed for a one night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was fairly comfortable. The breakfast was a basic continental option, however this was nice and fair value for the money you pay. The place had a nice atmosphere to it and is accessible. If we are back in Hereford again then we would stay here again. Read less

My single room was lovely and fresh looking and had everything I needed. Wasn't noisy even though it was over the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good relaxed atmosphere .
