We loved the close proximity to the tube station and the atmosphere of the pub. We had a great time drinking beers and eating the food on the first night. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Dislikes:
The only slight draw back was the decorations of half of the rooms were way better than the other. Also one of the rooms did not have towels.

The room was spacious enough but it was described as a 'deluxe double'. The window blind could not be raised, the toilet roll holder fell off the wall, the shower leaked and the 'double bed' was two singles pushed together. I stayed two nights and was told that breakfast was from 9am. This was also in the printed info in the room, but both mornings the pub was locked. I did eventually get breakfast but it should not have been so difficult. I was genuinely disappointed in my stay at this pub. Read less

It was convenient to get to the wedding venue.
Dislikes:
It was noisy. Yes I know it is a pub, but till 1am on Sunday morning! Also the issue with the breakfasts.

Two nights of almost a week in London 24 years after last visit. Stayed in pubs to experience them and try their beers. Unfortunately, London was very hot and the provided fan was somewhat ineffectual; can't do much about that. But it also affected their ability to offer cask beers, the reason for my visit. Great location, though, would consider return stay. Read less

The room was huge with fantastic lighting and plenty of windows for fresh air. I can’t rave enough about the staff- they were all very welcoming and accommodating. Also you can’t beat staying above a pub with amazing food and beer! Read less

We loved just about everything about our room at Prince of Wales Townhouse except for the bathroom. The shower had flooding issues each day and the shower temp wasn't adjustable which made showers quite difficult overall. We had some confusion around breakfast as well. There were details on the menu that said there was breakfast everyday at 8am but when we went down we were told there was no food until noon. However, the rest of the room was perfect and the bar downstairs is awesome! Read less
