We booked all 5 rooms as we had our wedding reception there. It was an absolute amazing stay and reception and the staff are what make everything here so special. They are so genuine, friendly and professional. The food is mind blowing and really good value for the level of quality and size of portions. The rooms are not 100% perfect but that’s what actually makes them more appealing. It is an old building and the imperfections are what gives it character and adds to the great experience. Read less

We loved everything. The 5 rooms are all different but very beautiful and comfortable. Everything is nice and relaxed and not over fussy. The staff and the food are what really make it all perfect.

We loved the food, every meal was perfect. We also loved the room which was a very decent size and nicely decorated and we even had a roll top bath, the shower too was roomy to say the least.
Dislikes:
Anything we didn't like? I was disappointed we had to leave if that counts?

The friendly staff and excellent atmosphere. The food was delicious, with interesting South African options. Great room and it felt secluded away from the road.
Dislikes:
There was a slight noise coming from the restaurant area below room 5. Maybe air con or restaurant/kitchen fans? It was noticeable in the early hours, but otherwise the stay was excellent.

I stayed in two different rooms on 2 separate nights over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Both were excellent - had great facilities and decor and were super spotless and comfortable. The ambience of The Percy Arms is very good - the pub/restaurant downstairs has a good feel and is lovely in the morning for breakfast. Everyone is very nice. I particularly liked the diversity of staff and they seemed to work together very well as a team. Read less
