Authentic Africana artifacts and photos were shipped in from all over Southern Africa and stylish tartans, weaves and leathers were introduced to reflect the comfort and style of a colonial hunting lodge. Oversized cushions, handmade Windsor chairs and animal skins strewn on the floor all make for ambient surroundings.

Guildford is situated in the centre of the county of Surrey, within easy reach of Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, and with excellent rail links to London (40 minutes) and the South Coast (50 minutes), and served by M25, M3 and A3, Guildford is the perfect spot from which to explore the whole of South East England.

We can now also boast 5 luxury en-suite letting rooms at The Percy Arms, some with gorgeous slipper baths in the rooms! The recent arrival of new head chef, Ian Wilkie, brings new flair and flavour to the restaurant. Daily specials’ boards include game roasts, speciality steaks and tempting South African dishes.
