Likes: Proximity to the hospital.
Dislikes: The rooms and house were generally untidy, shabby & needed updating. One double room was very small and it’s en-suite tiny. The drain in the shower was blocked which meant it couldn’t be used.

Orchard House is located in Royston which is full of history and character including its own cave and is a busy market town, it is just 12 miles from the historic university city of Cambridge and only 8 miles from the Imperial War Museum Duxford. There is a short 5 minutes' walk to the railway station which has direct rail links to both Cambridge and London. There is a local coach drop off and pick up point for coaches to and from Gatwick and Heathrow and the local bus to Cambridge City Centre. It is only 6 miles to Wimpole Hall and 6 miles to Shepreth Wildlife Park. We are a short walk from Johnson Matthey and 1 mile from the BMW motorbike training centre. We are also well situated for a number of wedding venues including South Farm, Minstrel Court and Newlands etc.
Environmental Statement
We are environmentally friendly using solar panel energy and by recycling where possible. We like to give our guests the choice of whether to have clean towels each day or less frequently therefore supporting the environmental policy.
