We loved the location.
Dislikes:
We ate in the bar and unfortunately they were out of nearly all the specials early in the evening which was disappointing. We also thought the 11am checkout was a bit early.

Dislikes:
AC not working so room a little cold but extra blanket worked fine. Hotel decor dated & a bit tired so not ideal for anything but a functional stay. Felt like a posh hostel.

We liked the friendly helpful staff and owners. Outstanding!
Our room was comfortable and clean.
We liked the real fires downstairs.
Dislikes:
The curtains in our room were light and did not cover the window well when closed.I like good heavy curtains in a hotel for draft proofing and keeping out early morning light!
