Likes:
The rooms have real character (Victorian, I believe), which is much nicer than the more boring rooms at Travel lodge and the like. The rooms are always clean and have everything you need.
Dislikes:
For a single night the price can be a bit steep, but still better than a lot of other hotel options.

Very close to Central London and very friendly staff.
Dislikes:
The lightning during the night; we were on the ground levl with the spotlights shining in our room during the night.

Comfortable beds, very clean bathroom with fresh towels and toiletries every day. Good choice at breakfast
Dislikes:
Noisy extractor fan , flat screen tv impossible to angle so that we could both see a picture, but no other problems

Bits of carpet shredded and very smelly with plastic on top. Didn't want to step on it with bare feet. Tatty shower unit with no shelves or hooks. Everything had something broken, missing, or badly fixed. Read less

Location, needed to be as close as possible to centre of Croydon. Car park. Staff friendly. Easy to find. Reasonable price. Beds.
Dislikes:
Shower and toilet, especially the floor area between the two, it was disgusting. Shower had pitiful cheap plastic head but water hot enough Nowhere to put shampoo or gels.Really needs refurbishment
