Jermaine was good to deal with, answered any questions, friendly and polite never rushed through telephone calls. Town cente close by, on a bus route with train station also close by. Read less

We came down for a conference and we were given free parking before our check in. There was a couple at the conference whose Airbnb fell through and we called Kathleen's House late at night and they arrived promptly to give them a room and free parking. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were clean. Power shower at the right temperature. I love a good shower! TV had Netflix so felt at home. It was a lovely stay no complaints. Read less

The host was super friendly and helpful. He was quick to help with anything we needed.
Dislikes:
We stayed on the weekend and there was no breakfast as it is only available during the week. However there are lots of nearby shops for breakfast.

This was my third stay at Kathleen House. I booked a room with a view garden but it faced the road. The room I was given definitely needs done up. The furniture is really old and clutters the whole room (no need for all that furniture). Old sink that is out of service (get rid of it). I decided to go to Holtwhites Hotel for my last night. Same price, far nicer room, more comfortable bed, private bathroom and 24 hour open reception. Read less

Friendly staff service and the location.
Dislikes:
Road noise, but was better when close windows. Breakfast selection can improve with fresh fruits, eggs, ..or advise on an alternative (English) breakfast + one morning the glasses weren't that clean.
