There were lots of lights including some wall sconces and when fully lit up the room actually looks pleasant and inviting. Way above the typical King's Cross area hotel -- we've stayed in a couple of fleabags and this was a cut above. Read less
Likes: The staff couldn't have been nicer. Our below ground level room had louvred windows that could be adjusted to admit more light or keep street-level passers-by from seeing in. Very smart.
Dislikes: With five guests this family room might be a little snug, at least for a long trip, but for a couple just staying overnight it was fine.

Likes: The room is functional, beds are comfortable and the area is pretty calm, even if one has to get used to have his/her shower in a kitchenette.
Dislikes: I did not like how payments are processed with a payment request emailed the same morning of the arrival, giving the impression the booking might be at stake if not paying
