Friendly staff and very clean room. Extra tea coffee and a large bottle of water on arrival. Free parking and convenient location
Dislikes:
Our bedroom was in the main block above the pub so a bit noisy, but it was a Friday night so to be expected. Noise abated after stop tap.

My wife, daughter and myself stayed for two nights to attend a family wedding. We had dinner at the hotel on Friday night which was excellent. The standard of decor and cleanliness of the room was first class. The use of technology is also excellent with free WiFi and electronic door locks and the waitress uses a tablet to take the order which appears to transmit to the kitchen and bar as it is being typed. The food, the room, the staff. A few more cask ales would be nice.
Dislikes:
The lack of breakfast! Apparently this is temporary, due to work in the kitchen, but no attempt was made to communicate this to guests prior to arriving, website & FB said that it was still available!

The willingness of the staff to accommodate my needs for early breakfast....I got a well prepared meal, served half and hour before the stated opening time. The evening meal was also excellent.
Dislikes:
Only the locaton was too far from home, otherwise I'd go there for just a meal if I didn't need to stay over.

I was so impressed with my room on arrival. it was beautifully decorated with those finer touches, soft closure cupboards, toilet seat, and lovely added soft lighting to adjust to your need. The bed was also very cosy with very soft touch bedding. I was made very welcome in the restaurant later that eve and even given a complimentary glass of wine. The food was delicious and as the restaurant was joined to the pub you could choose where you wanted to sit.
A lovely place all round. Perfect!! Read less

Within a cab ride of our family. Clean and reasonable price.
Dislikes:
Headboard and bedside lamps a little 'iffy' but hey, the price was very reasonable and included a good buffet breakfast.

The room and the bathroom were clean. The mattresses were very very comfortables and permited to spend a very good sleep, really.
