We had a very friendly welcoming from David who showed us to our room. The room was clean. Met friends downstairs in their bar area before heading for a night out. The bar staff were fantastic. Had a great nights sleep. The pillows and duvet were so comfortable.
Will 100% be returning and would definitely recommend. I did not eat during my stay but had dinner a few months ago with a friend which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Read less

The location was perfect for visiting my friends, the staff were all lovely and room was clean. The 2 for 1 cocktails also went down very well!

2-night stay, visiting areas of North London. The hotel staff and friendly and helpful, and the food available in the pub and also next door in the cafe where breakfast is served is great.
There is no sound insulation at all though, so any noise from the pub is very easy to hear. Stay on a weekend at your peril. I was unlucky enough to be there on a night when the pub had a party and it was very noisy. The road outside can be quite noisy too.
Nearest tube station is quite far away. Read less

Decent size, good bed and very friendly and helpful staff.
Dislikes:
Noisy rooms and some scruffy parts of the rooms. THe shower door was broken in the room I stayed in.

clean warm and comfortable. Great breakfast in the neighbouring deli. Although initially this seemed a bit awkward it worked really well and the food was delicious.
Dislikes:
The shower door was hanging off and came off in my hands. A bin would have been helpful for tea bags and other rubbish. Also biscuits for tea would be welcome. High price for just a room.

The warm welcome. The decor. The big bed and big bath. The breakfast. The room temperature.
Dislikes:
Dogs crying, whining, and crashing about in the room next to us.
Being told to complain if we heard the dogs bark.
Having to top up the price of breakfast as vouchers didn't cover it.

Bed, bed linen and pillows amazing! Where can I get them?! Breakfast fabulous! Room size great. Fab buzzing bar. Ironing facilities, hairdryer, kettle, toiletries, etc. Comfortable stay. Would return.
Dislikes:
Bathroom a bit tired but perfectly functional so no problem.

We chose the Blue Boar as the friends we were travelling with had tried to stay there previously, for another wedding, but they were full on that occasion. How glad we were that we got booked in this time. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners/staff and all done in such a friendly manner, from check in, dining & bar service everything was top notch including the bistro next door (Boardeli's) for breakfast. A superb 2 night stay. Read less

Pretty much everything. The staff/owners were first class and very welcoming. The superb singer on Sunday night that we didn't expect was the cherry on the cake.
Dislikes:
No. We had a great stay.
